Another comic artist/writer might have emphasized the charred skin on Maris's arms and legs and the fact that she is in her waitress uniform instead of her Guardian uniform, and they would have established that Ora was downstairs before she started speaking. And while one of those was an actual mistake I caught too late in the process (dammit, Ora), the other things I chose to skip because I didn't want Lamia narrating with "What happened to Maris's arms and legs!?" when in real life she would be too shocked to pay too much attention to those details. So there ya go, some insight into the mind of a comicker.

Speaking of Lamia, it was nice to draw her concerned for once. I purposely had her let her hair down in the previous pages because I think it softens her look/shape.
